ABLE's 18th Annual Criminal Justice Conference (2024)
Theme - "R.I.S.E: Prepare, Plan and Persevere"
We are extremely thankful to all the officers, civilians, and high school seniors who participated in ABLE's 18th annual Criminal Justice Conference. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for young adults from various educational institutions to gain insights and pursue careers in the field of criminal justice. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, 70 young adults from different high schools, Job Corps, and several colleges were able to attend this event free of charge.
Furthermore, ABLE awarded four $1000.00 scholarships todeserving students. The conference also focused on providing exceptional training, fostering camaraderie, and expanding networking opportunities for current law enforcement officers and civilian attendees. We want to express our gratitude to the agencies whose officers attended this year: Avondale PD, Queen Creek PD, Maricopa Community College PD, MCSO, Mesa PD, NAACP, Phoenix PD, Surprise PD, Tucson PD, Tempe PD, and Winslow PD. We are excited about the prospect of growing and expanding our reach and look forward to encouragingadditional law enforcement agencies to join us next year.
